Terms
Short version: you see your site before you pay for it, you can have your money back until it goes live, and anything you own stays yours. The rest of this page is the same thing said carefully.

Who you are dealing with
Paged is run by Courtright Collective. If you need a person, email hello@pagedlive.com and you will get one.
What you get
You answer a questionnaire and we build you a one-page website from it. It gets published at its own web address and you get a private link that reopens your answers. Change them, save, and the site rebuilds itself at the same address. There is no editor to learn and no design decisions to make, which is the point.
We host it, keep it online, and keep it loading quickly. We do not write your copy for you, take your photographs, run your ads, or manage your email.
What it costs
$199 once to build the site, and $10 a month to keep it online and editable. These are introductory prices. If they go up, they go up for new customers. Your monthly price does not change while you stay subscribed.
You pay after your site is built and live, not before. Building it and looking at it costs nothing.
If a payment fails
Your site stays online for 14 days. Nothing changes at your address during that time and nobody visiting it can tell. If the payment still has not gone through at the end of those 14 days, the site goes offline.
Going offline does not delete anything. Every answer you wrote and every image you uploaded is kept for 90 days from the day the site went down. Pay inside that window and the site comes back at the same address, exactly as it was. After 90 days we delete it, and at that point it really is gone.
The same 14 days apply if you never pay at all. Your site goes live first, and the clock starts the day it does.
Refunds
Before your site goes live: full refund, no questions, no forms. Just ask.
After it goes live: the $199 build fee is not refundable. The work it paid for is finished and you have the site. The monthly is a different thing. Cancel it whenever you like and it stops at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a month, and we do not bill you for another one.
If you leave
Any domain name you bought and pointed at your site belongs to you. If you leave, we release it and help you point it somewhere else. There is no fee for that and no argument about it. You are not renting your own name from us.
Ask before the 90 days are up and we will send you the finished HTML and your images so you can host them anywhere.
What you are responsible for
The words and pictures you put in are yours, and you are telling us you have the right to use them. Please do not use Paged for anything illegal, anything designed to deceive people, or anything that would get us in trouble with Cloudflare. If a site is doing one of those things we will take it down and refund what you have paid.
What we are responsible for
Keeping your site online, and being honest with you when something breaks. We build on Cloudflare, which is about as reliable as the web gets, but no host is up every second of every year. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage, and we are not liable for business you believe you lost while a site was down. What we will do is fix it and tell you what happened.
Changing these terms
If we change anything that affects what you pay or what happens to your site, we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on paying after that is how you accept the change. If you would rather not, cancel and the old terms apply until your last paid period ends.
Something here unclear or unfair? Tell us: hello@pagedlive.com. We would rather fix the wording than hide behind it.
